Situated in the Far-west of Nepal, Dolpo is one of the most remote region of the country thus, trekkers rarely visit this wild and rural district of Dolpo but despite this, it offers a wonderful experience of viewing the stunning landscapes and diverse cultures which is very much different from that seen in the other parts of the country. Dolpo lure adventures with promises of untouched natural splendor, mystical cultures and rare wildlife. It has not been much time since it was formally opened for the trekkers across the world. For the trekking, it can be divided into two regions i.e. Lower and Upper Dolpo Trekking. The very famous lake “Phoksundo Lake” is also situated here in the arena of Shey Phoksundo National Park thus, it is also the habitat of legions of rare and endangered flora and fauna.
